Payment
Payments can be made through PayPal. No animal will be shipped until it is paid for in full. For purchasing and payment information please contact us at SolsticeReptiles@gmail.com
It is the responsibility of the buyer to know the laws and regulations concerning the importing and owning of reptiles in your area.
Shipping
All reptiles shipped by Solstice Reptiles are guaranteed to arrive live, healthy, and properly sexed. Unless otherwise noted, all snakes sold will be eating frozen/thawed mice and have eaten at least 3 times unassisted.
Shipping is a flat rate of $55 which includes an insulated box and a cold or heat pack when necessary. We currently ship on Monday through Wednesday with next day arrival through FedEx Priority Overnight. In most cases delivery will be made before 10:30am the next day. We do not ship around major holidays. An adult MUST be present to sign for the package on the first delivery attempt. Any package not signed for or left on the doorstep will void our live arrival guarantee. Please be prepared to receive your snake the moment it comes to your door.
Temperatures on the date of shipping should be between 40 to 85 degrees at both the shipping and receiving locations. Should you wish to ship outside of these temperatures the live arrival guarantee will be void. We reserve the right to delay shipping for any reason including extreme temperatures.
Guarantee
In the unlikely circumstance that an animal arrives deceased we must be notified via email within 2 hours of receipt of the animal. Notification should include a description of the conditions of the shipment as well as photographic proof of the deceased snake. Photos must be clear and we hold the right to request more specific pictures if necessary. We also reserve the right to request the shipment of the frozen, deceased snake back to our facility for verification. Once verified we will ship out another snake when possible or profivide a refund if another snake of the same morph and sex is not available.
We also provide a 72 hour health and sex guarantee. All health or sexing issues must be verified by a qualified veterinarian and reported to us within 72 hours of receipt of the animal. Compensation for the cost of the animal (excluding shipping charges) will only take place once the animal has been safely returned to us. Medical expenses are the responsibility of the buyer. In the case of a sexing error, after the safe return of the snake we will replace it with another snake of the same morph and sex. If one is not available we will offer a refund once the snake has been safely returned.
Please note that all guarantees and refunds are for the cost of the animal only. Shipping expenses are nonrefundable.
Receiving Your Snake
Upon receipt of your snake keep it in an appropriately sized enclosure with proper environmental conditions and clean water. Do not attempt to handle your new snake for at least 7 days. This will allow it to acclimate to the new surroundings and reduce stress. Likewise, do not attempt to feed your new snake during these first 7 days. This can be a stressful time for the snake and feeding during this time could result in the snake regurgitating and compromising it's health. Enjoy your new snake!
